One small rainbow quilt top: finished!
I just stepped away from my husband for a minute to check the wash... and an hour and a half later, I had a quilt top. Whoops! I'm very easily thrown off course.
It doesn't lie entirely flat, but the panel had a warp in it that I couldn't get out no matter what I tried. So instead I'll just have to ease it in.
Basting it is up next and I hope to have it done by Friday so that I can take this quilt on vacation with me next week. I don't know how much I'll get to do, but at least I'll have it if I want it.
I'm excited to have a hand quilting project again... and one I can even blog about!

This quilt is adorable. I love the triangle border. I often say that it is more important for things to look square than be square. That is important for things like panels.
ReplyDeletehehe, sometimes being easily distractable is a lot of fun! happy handstitching!
ReplyDeleteHa ha too funny! That is something I would do :) Lovely colours in this top ... are you going to do the same bright colours in hand-stitching?
