I worked on making blocks this week, adding a few stitches every morning before work. That was a nice way to start the day! And when the last block was made, I couldn't resist laying the blocks out to peek at how it's going to look. I love how it's turning out!
In other news, I could really use a design wall, because this is the most I could get a picture of!
Looks so good! What a great lay out as well, I love rainbows.
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with rainbows and this looks like it will be lovely!
ReplyDeleteit's looking really good! A friend of mine gets up early every day so she can sew, I just can't do it. I get up at 6 to get ready for work, but any time starting with a 5 is just for sleeping!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! I can't wait to see how it all turns out. And yes, designs walls are such a necessity. Mine's tiny, which is fine for individual blocks, but I really need one that spans the entire wall.
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous! You've done a great job with the color layout. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to start your day - and look how much you got done. I like your colour arrangement a lot.
ReplyDeleteTotally love it! I would have had to lay it out quickly too.
ReplyDeleteReally love your rainbow....so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSometimes sewing in small bits is the best way to make progress. And also, what a fun problem to have a quilt that's too large for your design wall!
